I love having some sort of routine and working out daily has been therapeutic for my wellbeing. It helps me de-stress from my hectic schedule and it helps me re-focus on the things that matters in life. I grew up learning to work hard to achieve my goals and the things that I want in life. Every day we are faced with different challenges and some may even mess with your plans. What do you do when that happens? Do you let them define your day or do you chose to get back on track? What I’ve learned over the years is that good things come to those who wait patiently and is persistent versus those that gives up when the going get’s tough.
I believe that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. Sometimes, even things that you might feel is unattainable. It’s like the saying, “Shoot for the stars, aim for the moon…” which means, if you give yourself a goal don’t stop just because you achieved that 1 goal, keep going and do more. So, what’s holding you back from working towards your goals? Is it your mindset or maybe the fear of failing? Perhaps, even both.
If failing is the reason that’s holding you back, shouldn’t you give yourself the opportunity to try and give it, your very best? What’s the worst that can happen? You fall short? But, what if you succeed? If you don’t even try, how will you know what would be the outcome anyway? I think we all owe ourselves a chance, an opportunity, a shot at things before even admitting defeat.
