Love is unique, love has the capacity to change a person in more ways than one, love is powerful, love is special and love can do so much more. We all show love in different ways according to our own love language but, marriage is one way to show committal love. Marriage is a sacred bonding journey that 2 individuals decide to embark on together through the tough times and share the good ones along the way. To symbolize our love for each other in marriage, JR and I decided to get our Wedding Bands from Cartier as we love that the Love Rings are thick and solid but, it’s also classy and simple. Initially, I was supposed to go for the thinner paved diamond ring and he was supposed to go with the simple band with no diamonds but, since we’ll be wearing the rings for many years to come, we changed our minds and went for the thicker paved diamonds and also for his band to have 3 diamonds and we love our wedding bands so much. He was so excited that he wanted to wear his band before our ROM but, I did not allow him to until our ROM on the 2nd of July 2019. ;P

Everyone has their story and this is ours. We got engaged on the 21st of February 2019. I would like to think of our engagement to be a unique and special, as my Fiance’ got down on 2 knees instead of 1 like everyone else does and presented me with the huge sparkler. He was definitely nervous but, he was really cute as he was smiling sheepishly and I melted with those Husky-like Hazel eyes of his. He definitely has one of the most beautiful eye colours I’ve ever seen if I truly had to be honest. Somedays, they appear to be grey with a hue of golden brown in them and other days, they appear to be green with some brown in them. Hybrids are the best aren’t they? ❤ He's half Korean and half American in case anyone was wondering.
He wanted the whole world to know that he was off the market too hence he wore an Engagement Ring too. His is 18k white gold with a rose gold line in the middle.
This is definitely a long overdue post. To be exact, almost 1.5 months late. After my short 2 weeks holiday in February, I got extremely busy catching up with work and my personal life. There’s definitely been lots of changes, but they are definitely good ones for sure.
I had the opportunity to wine and dine at Nobu, Kuala Lumpur again in February 2019. We definitely managed to get a better table this time around as it was right next to the famous KL Twin Towers with a beautiful view of the KL, Sunset on the 17th of February 2019. Instead of going for the Omakase like I did in 2015, JR and I decided to order off the menu and every dish we had, was definitely to die for. It was totally delish. In all honesty, I’m terrified of heights but dining on the 56th floor once in awhile is definitely something I can get used to. 🙂
Btw, you don’t have to dine at Nobu just to celebrate a special occasion, just make a reservation and head there to enjoy a nice dinner with your girls or guys or family of course. Definitely, a highly recommended restaurant by me. 🙂
Happy New Year, 2019! everyone. I hope that 2018 was kind to you and your loved ones. 2018 definitely brought new experiences for me. At the beginning of 2018, I started my year of with lots of dog related events, gatherings and shopping for Laurent, my Frenchie that was part of the Atkinson family since December 2017 and Saint, my Mini Beagle that joined the family in May 2018. Never did I imagine that I would be a proud Mom to 2 Intelligent, Adorable and Energetic Furkids. Laurent is now 1yr and 3mths while Saint is 9mths old as of 1st of January 2019. They grow up too fast!
Middle of the year till New Year’s Eve 2019, I’ve been extremely busy with work and family especially Mom. I started to make working out a part of my routine, my form of solitude. I now have two forms of solitude – Driving and Working Out which makes me happy. At the same time, I did “spring cleaning” by removing toxic elements from my life.
I’m signing off this post by wishing everyone another great year ahead in 2019!! Let’s surround ourselves with Good Vibes as life’s too short to be living with doubts or negative thoughts.
